SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME-2016


PURPOSE OF TRAINING

 

It is a Teacher Training and Skill Development Programme for young girls of age group of 17 to 23 years (who have passed the Senior Secondary Exam.) to shape them for a perfect career in Education & Children Development and Family Counseling. This training progremme will enable the girls to have the self employment by starting their own centre for children development such as Day Care Centre OR Play/ Nursery School OR conduct classes/workshops for Personality Development, Yoga OR do Family Counseling as free lancer OR may join as teacher in other Play/Nursery School.

 

This programme offers Three Years Residential Sanskar Guru (Teacher) Training plus Graduation.  During this period, the trainees would also learn English and Sanskrit Language, Computer Course, Yoga, Music & Dance, Family Counseling, Personality Development, Self Defence. Besides the above, the trainees will be acquainted with the Indian History, Indian Culture, Epics, various dimensions of human values and qualities, the Process of Sanskar, Art of Living and also learn the methods of conducting/ organising programmes/ workshops etc. The training of games, celebrating the festivals, organizing tour programmes, etc. would be imparted to them. The trainees will also learn ‘play way method’, ‘demonstration method’, ‘learning by doing method’ and ‘experimental method’. They will also be provided coaching for doing B.A/B.Com (graduation) from University as private candidate. The Training Programme would be conducted at Delhi.

 

CAREER AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING

 

Duration of Training Programme will be Three years which include 16 weeks of internship and about 12 weeks tour for exploring INDIA. This Training programme will transform the young girls into a good mentor, Ideal Teacher and a Good Human Being. In fact this course is a combination of course of Ancient GURU plus the course of Modern Ideal Teacher for Pre-primary Education such as Day Care Centre, Play/ Nursery Schools. After completing the Course of SANSKAR GURU, they will be given two years placement in Sanskaram Vatika(s) to enable them to have the practical experience of running the Day Care Centre/ Play/ Nursery School and thereafter they are at liberty either to set up their own Centre for Children Development such as Day Care/ Play/ Nursery School OR work as Family Counselor OR conduct Workshop/ Classes for Personality Development, Yoga or may join other running play/ nursery school or Anganwadi as a teacher.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

 i).     ELIGIBILITY

   Unmarried Females (between 17-23 years)   

Qualification: Senior Secondary Exam (12th standard) passed with minimum 50% marks.

   Can Read, Write and Speak Hindi & Can Read & Write English.

   Vegetarian & Teetotaler   

   Polite and Humble

   Believer of simple living and high thinking

NOTE: Those candidates who have already done any Teaching Course can also apply.  

 

(ii).  PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION 

 

The candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interviews and assessment of the candidates in regard to following. During this phase, only 25 candidates would be selected.

TRAINING EXPENSES 

This Residential Training Programme will run with the financial assistance of Brahm Foundation under BRAHM FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP-2016. Training Expenses for the entire three years period would be around Rs. 3,50,000/- on each candidate out of which selected candidate would have to pay only Rs. 50,000/- per year in six installments of Rs. 25,000/- each to cover the expenses of their lodging and boarding i.e. for providing the residential facilities and food etc. The remaining expenses of about Rs. 2,00,000/- on training, faculty, training materials, Resource Persons, books and other facilities & infrastructure would be borne by Brahm Foundation under BRAHM FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP-2016.

 The following are the dates of payment of six installment of Rs.25,000/- each.

The Training Programme would be conducted at Delhi. The selected candidate will get residence facility on sharing basis with other female fellow trainees.

 

Our Institution is an accredited Centre of NIOS (A Central Government Institution of Open Schooling) . The selected candidates may also be admitted at our Institution for ECCE Course of NIOS. However they will have to complete NIOS Course on the basis of NIOS syllabus and have to pass the Exam to be conducted by NIOS and they have to pay Rs. 1,000/- to NIOS towards enrollment and examination fee in addition to Expenses mentioned above. They will get the NIOS Certificate for E.C.C.E. Course. The Certificate of NIOS is approved by schools/ institutions throughout India.

 

INTERNSHIP

  • The candidate do internship for about 8 weeks in 2nd year and about 8 weeks in 3rd year.

 

EXPLORING INDIA

  • The candidates will have to travel and visit historical and cultural places of India.

 

CAREER AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING

 

(I)          PLACEMENT AND REMUNERATION

On successful completion of three years training, they will be appointed as Sanskar Guru (Teacher) in our Sanskaram Vatika(s) for a period of two years. The Sanskaram Vatika(s) is  more than a Nursery School. They will be paid an Honorarium of Rs.2,00,000/- per annum on C.T.C. basis plus residence facility on sharing basis with other female Sanskar Guru(s). However the expenses incurred on eatables such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruits, milk and other consumable such as electricity, water etc. will be deducted from their Honorarium on average cost basis. They will maintain the dress code as may be decided from time to time at their own cost. During first phase, we are going to set up three Sanskaram Vatika(s) in and around Delhi in January 2019. 

 

(II)    After completing on two years in service, Sanskar Guru(s) will have the following options: 

(a)    ASSISTANCE IN SETTING UP THEIR OWN SANSKARAM VATIKA(S)/PLAY SCHOOL OR NURSERY SCHOOL OR GURUKUL FOR CHILDREN

After completion of two years in service, if Sanskar Guru(s) choose to setup their own children Development Centre such as Day Care Centre or Play School or Nursery School or Gurukul for children in their own locality, we will assist them in setting up the such school/Gurukul but they have to make the arrangement for building in their locality and infrastructure. We will get arranged a loan up to Rs. 5,00,000/-  for setting up the centre at her locality and also provide course material, managerial expertise and our name.

 

(b)    OTHER OPTIONS

Can work as Family Counselor

OR

Conduct Workshop/Classes for personality Development and Yoga

OR

May join other running play/nursery school as a teacher.

 

OTHER TERMS

 

(i)           Each selected candidate shall have to undertake not to marry for first three years of training and minimum one year of service and during the service she would get herself involved fully with the children of Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul. However after one year of service, they can marry while continuing in service.

 

(ii)         The selected candidates have to execute a bond that they will neither leave the training programme in between nor resign from the post of Sanskar Guru for a period of minimum one year. Those who left the training programme in between or service before one year for any reason or was expelled due to not adhering the discipline and/or not practicing the Yama and Niyama, they have to pay Rs.3,00,000/- to the Institute towards reimbursement of expenses incurred by Institute/Brahm Foundation during training period.

 

SANSKAR GURU IS A BLEND OF ANCIENT GURU & MODERN IDEAL TEACHER

 

We have devised a unique concept of Sanakar Guru for integrated harmonious development of children. The Sanskar Guru is a combination of ANCIENT GURU AND MODERN IDEAL TEACHER.

 

These Sanskar Guru(s) are especially trained through an intensive and very innovative training programme which include Early Childhood Care And Education (ECCE), Communication Skills, Computer Course, Sanskrit and English. They would also be acquainted with the various dimensions of Human Values and Qualities, the Process of Sanskar, its Philosophy and its effect on the conduct and behaviour of the children and methods of conducting/organizing programmes and activities at SanskaramVatika. During the training period, they will also learned Srimad Bhagwad Geeta and Indian Epics etc. They will also be trained in play way method, demonstration method, learning by doing method and experimental method. They have the expertise in celebrating the festivals, organizing tour programmes etc. Sanskar Guru(s) have the expertise in using of modern technologies of communications, computers & social media etc.

 

These specially trained Sanskar Guru(s) will guide and inspire the children to transform themselves into a good human being. Sanskar-Guru will act as friend, facilitator and mentor for the children and become an instrument in their integrated harmonious development and building their character while laying the foundation of their Modern Education.

 

The Sanskar Guru(s) themselves would be true followers of human values; believe in “simple living and high thinking”; would work with missionary zeal and would enjoy working with young children. They would be lively, energetic and creative. The conduct &behaviour of Sanskar-guru(s) would be such that they could become the Role Models for the children and inspire them through their conduct, behaviour and multidimensional personality to imbibe human values and could be mix-up with them in such a way that they trust and have total faith in her and revere.

 

By virtue of this specially acquired ability, the Sanskar Guru(s) would act as “Catalyst” in expediting the process of inculcating human values in the children and would transform them into exemplary and ideal persons and empower them to face the challenges of life courageously.

 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF SANSKAR GURU AT SANSKAR VATIKA(S)/GURUKUL

1.           The Sanskar Guru(s) will act as friend, facilitator and mentor for the children and become an instrument in their integrated harmonious development and building their character while laying the foundation of their Modern Education.

 

2.           Sanskar Guru(s) are expected to understand the psychology of the children under her, their behavior, their attitudes, aptitudes, abilities, likes and dislikes, the environment in his/her home and the traditions of his/her family.

 

3.           Sanskar Guru(s) would also identify the negative and positive tendencies of children under her and assist them in eliminating the negative ones, and strengthening the positive ones and also create such situations, which would inspire the children in imbibing those human values which are lacking in them. Sanskar Guru(s) would make use of various innovative and flexible methods and process of Sanskar to achieve the best and transform children in to good human being.

 

4.           The Sanskar Guru(s) would conduct/organise especially designed value rich programmes/activities like music, dance, drama, storytelling, mass singing, prayers, art & craft activities, audio-visual programmes, film and cartoon shows, computer and board games, indoor/outdoor games, role plays, painting, debates, workshops, symposiums, tours  etc. in such a way that along with fun, pleasure and enjoyment, children would inadvertently imbibe human values in their subconscious without being aware of them. Through these specially designed activities, innovative methods and approach, human values would be imbibed by the children themselves in their subconscious which ultimately would become an integral part of their character. These programmes/activities at the Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul would be organized in such a way that whole hearted participation of children is ensured. These value rich programmes/activities would be planned according to the age group of the children.

 

5.           The Sanskar Guru(s) would create an intimate environment where children would feel oneness with them and could mix-up with them in such a way that they would trust and have total faith in her.

 

6.           The Sanskar Guru(s)  would behave like a mother who plays, acts and sometimes imitates her child to remove psychological barriers between them and would inspire them to elevate their character develop Integrated Harmonious Personality and also make them curious to study modern subjects.

 

7.           The Sanskar Guru(s) would also interact and develop rapport with Parents of their pupils by frequent, useful and meaningful, interactions to understand their family environment, atmosphere and traditions as well as the weakness and strengths. Sanskar Guru(s) would communicate and advice the parents in an informal and cordial way in case their family environment/atmosphere is required to be improved to make it conducive for Integrated Harmonious Development of their children.

 

8.           The Sanskar Guru(s) would also invite the parents periodically to Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul and arrange enrichment programme for them. The such programme would be planned carefully and exhaustively with inbuilt flexibility.

 

9.           The Sanskar Guru(s) will prepare and maintain a record of each child containing their observations on weekly basis regarding his/her skills/conduct and behavior. A cumulative report would be prepared periodically.

 

10.       The Sanskar Guru(s) would create and maintain a nature friendly and holistic environment/atmosphere in Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul. They are also expected to decorate the Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul and keep its surroundings neat, clean and beautiful.

 

11.       The Sanskar Guru(s) would also interact with various artists such as singers, dancers, magicians, puppeteers etc and invite them to perform their programmes at Sanskaram Vatika(s)/Gurukul to provide a broad spectrum experience to the children.
